Jesus, God’s Perfect Plan
Having lived in a country where Bhuddism is the main religion, I learnt to share my faith through the story of creation, a creator God who was, is and will continue to be intimately involved with all of His creation. How that involvement has looked and will look in the future has changed as our human story unfolds, but the plan was the same. Jesus.
Since coming back to New Zealand, I have fallen into the trap of reframing this salvation plan into one which consisted of Plan A – the garden of Eden where humans sinned so God had to come to the rescue with Plan B.  Although it’s an easy narrative it doesn't work.
Who knows the three ‘omni’ characteristics of God?
He is omnipotent – all powerful
He is omniscient – all knowing
He is omnipresent – everywhere throughout place and time.
God knew the end before the beginning, He was before the heavens and the earth were formed and will continue into our part of eternity. He always had a perfect long-term plan that involved revealing Himself to us in a way that we would be able to comprehend.  As Jesus, a walking living person through whom He is slowly and intentionally guiding us along the path that leads to Him, to wholeness.
¹⁸ For you know that it was not with perishable things such as silver or gold that you were redeemed from the empty way of life handed down to you from your ancestors, ¹⁹ but with the precious blood of Christ, a lamb without blemish or defect. ²⁰ He was chosen before the creation of the world, but was revealed in these last times for your sake. (1 Peter 1:18-20)
